The CDC serves the communities of Fort St. John, Taylor, Hudson Hope and surrounding rural areas.

We provide outreach services to the Indigenous communities of the Blueberry River, Doig River and Halfway River First Nations.

Our dedicated and skilled team travel to remote areas, often times in inclement weather to provide services to families that otherwise would be unable to access necessary programming.
For over 50 years the Child Development Centre has been providing programs and services to children and families in Fort St. John and outlying communities. We are the hub for families seeking early intervention, Aboriginal infant development, infant development, supported childcare, family supports, behavioural supports, respite, and parenting programs. We also offer a fully inclusive preschool and daycare. Over 1200 children a year access our services.
