Family Services

The Family Services Coordinator (FSC) supports families of children with special needs from 36 months to school entry.

For many families, their first Child Development Centre contact is with the FSC.

Areas where the Family Services Coordinator may assist:

  • support
  • information
  • resources
  • advocacy
  • parenting programs
  • parent connections.

How to access the program.

Referrals are accepted from parents/guardians, doctors, nurses, social workers, other CDC team members, people that are concerned about a child’s development, or other organizations. Referrals should be made only with the parent or guardian’s knowledge and consent.
